I was thinking to much into it.I dug out around the first box, and removed the lid. This extension just fits over the original box. I felt it should have latched to it some how. But this design is simple. After setting it on I put the dirt I dug out back around it. I'll probably get more dirt later and raise the ground around it, so I can mow over.
