They come in a nice box suitable for gifting. They are sturdy and feel hefty in the hand, but not too heavy. The tongs work well, easy to open and close. My previous set had these horrible tongs that you just squeeze together, inevitably dropping the food. The ones in this set are so much easier and grip better. Hanging loops on the handles are nice, although I store these in a drawer, since my grill has no hooks. They get stuck in a position and don't function without wiggling the locking mechanism. Not ideal when you are trying to grill.
