I was worried about the paddle lock, where other have criticized it for being poor quality, but it is pretty sturdy and works well, once I had greased up the internal mechanism. Easy to fit and and lock.

**Q: Is this hollow when looking from underneath? I’d like to slide it over a scaffold tube?**
A: yes, it is hollow from underneath. I had the same idea and inserted a box section to extend. not sure of the size though

**Q: My driveway gates have a clearance of 70mm will the post fit when laid down**
A: yes

**Q: Is the steel galvanised**
A: No it is painted and after four years it is showing no sign of corrosion

**Q: Hi, does this post include a lock and 2 keys?**
A: Yes it does....I chose this one because bury into cement and no fixing bolts ( dodgy people could just unbolt to remove)

Easy to concrete in but…. after only one week of use the key broke off in the lock with the post up! So glad this wasn’t in the middle of the night and I was able to get it out. Quality of the lock is rubbish so throw it away and get a decent one. The post is fine and worth the money on its own.
