Be careful if you use a hair dryer or heat gun. It may bend too tight and in the wrong place. The guide tracks can also get distorted making the guides stick.(If you mess up, warm it again with it laid on a flat surface with something flat on top)If it's a 90 degree (Square bay), you will probably find it best to cut a curved template/former.Going from memory, I think the radius for Superluxe is 10 inches.How I managed the task..Tie a piece of string to a pencil, nearest to the pointed end.Measure 10 inches from the pencil and hold this mark tightly on the corner of a piece of ply or MDF board.Keeping the string tight and the pencil upright, draw an arc on the ply.With a Jigsaw or Fretsaw, cut carefully along the line.Measure from a corner of the bay to where the pull-cord will be and mark the track. This will end up half way round the curve.Measure from that mark, towards where the pull-cord will be, a distance of 5 inches (Half of the 10 inch radius) and mark the track. Mark this with a crossBefore erecting the track;-Bend the track cold, around the former, keeping the cross at relevant end of the curve throughout.The track will spring back somewhat when released, but will retain sufficient bend to make the installation much easier.After installing the track, use the former to check the bend, and slide the track through mountings to adjust as necessary. I know this seems a lot of work to bend a curtain track, but without it, you will probably invent a few swearwords, mostly directed towards Swish, as I did.Hopefully this will help.~Mike~ **Q: Does this track bend on external corners as well as internal bay window corners?** A: For us we did not bend it, only in a straight line. Having said that, it is flexible and I would think it will bend both internal and external corners quite easily. The set naturally overlaps the curtains because one end (the middle end) is formed to overlap the other middle end. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value for money. *by D***E on 14 March 2019* Excellent product, better if 2 people can fit it but with a little planning and thought it can be done by one person. I purchased extra brackets locally as our bay window measures 12ft, and I realised that extra support was essential for the weight of the lined curtains. Have to say it works really well, with a smooth pulley action and as a grandparent of twins I think it's an excellent idea that the pulley ropes are short and out of reach of little ones. Also just a reminder to anyone purchasing this product, remember to purchase the curtain hooks separately or source them locally. Excellent product and delivered the following day, (and not using Prime)!!! ### ⭐⭐ Not for heavy curtains! *by G***L on 19 January 2017* Probably adequate for a straight run with lightweight curtains but are totally unsuitable for heavy curtains on a bay window.Also, the cord length is very short if you are putting these on big windows (see attached photo) the cord ended around 1.8m from the floor. Not really a problem for me as the whole lot went in the bin as it's not at all suitable for my application. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ seems good quality rail *by J***S on 16 April 2015* seems good quality rail, needs two people to put it up as it slots together in the middle, but you can't put one half up first then the other half as it is connected with the cord, so join/push together and put it up in one long rail. I managed to bend mine around the slight corner on one side of my window easily. Pull cord each side, operates one curtain at one time, so don't expect to pull the cord and both curtains close/open. Although in the instructions I did see that you can change the cord so that you can do this if required. I believe this is the only rail that you can operate each curtain independently which I like.
