However... the "flames" flickering is on the same pattern that repeats every 2 seconds. It would have been nice it it was randomized to mimic real-life flames, but maybe we need to wait for the next generation of these lights, or pay more than $16... :) Also, the gravity sensor (at least on the lamp I received) didn't work most of the times--a couple of times the flames changed directions when held upside down, but most of the times the flames flickered from top to bottom when held upside down. Not a big deal to me since I'm planning on using it the regular side up, but still.Not bad for the price, and my kids will love the novelty of it.Edited 12/13/18:I changed the rating from the original three starts to four stars. I've found that the two-second repeat pattern of the flames is really not noticeable unless you are staring at the lamp.
