The top of my hair is thinning and its quite humiliating. I even shave my hair down to give the illusion that it's all the same length all around but that didn't help. So now I've resorted to wearing wigs to hide my hair loss. I've researched hair lost recently and found that there's this thing called DHT. DHT alters the activity of the insulin-like growth factor, consequently blocking the stimulation of growth for dormant hair follicles , discouraging hair growth hence leaving a gap which would have been filled up by prevention of hair loss.
