Out of the box it comes as is, well wrapped but with no instruction manual - that is fine. If you are ordering a speciality tin such as this you will probably already have bread recipes. The only challenge was how much to fill the tin if you are using the lid so you get a square loaf - its really trial and error based upon the bread you are making but I found about 4/5th full worked very well.The tin is very easy to clean. You do need to avoid abrasives, but its not really necessary - the bread comes out cleanly with a slight tap when a bit cooled and any left on the tin can be rubbed off with a finger or a few seconds soaking and a sponge.Really this is a perfect tin, a good size, easy to clean and makes lovely bread. I used it same day that it arrived and the first photo is the result. The first time I used spraylix on the tin and lid and also made sure that the dough In the tin was about an inch below the top before I put lid on. Results were splendid. Second time I didn’t spray it and just relied on it being non stick and I ended up with the bread welded to the tin and had to lever it out which ruined the shape of the loaf and I was concerned that I’d damaged the tin. Thankfully I hadn’t and next loaf was perfect (to my eyes and taste anyway). Great way to get a good home baked sandwich loaf !
