Adding two extra inches to this whisper of a chain, even in 14 karat gold, wouldn't put Amazon in the poor house anytime soon. I would buy and keep the same necklace for the same price, and maybe $10 more, if it was "20 long. Not everyone neck is swan-like. When I put a 17" or 18" necklace around my neck, I look ridiculous and feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, necklaces have a standard length of 17"-18" long. They are either unavailable or more expensive with a couple extra inches tacked on.
