It's held up well, but that is to be expected given it's material and construction. You will need multiple passes with this sweeper to cover the entire tongue area, however I don't see this as a downside since the sweeper isn't uncomfortably large to use.The cleaning edge is slightly rounded which is neither overly soft or overly sharp. If your tongue is really dirty you may need a second pass to thoroughly clean it, but I never felt the cleaning edge was too sharp or harsh. Well I have now been using this for two days and wow, it works so well. I used it this morning and it is 4 o'clock in the after noon and my mouth still feels really fresh. Not only is it a strong cure for breath problems but my tongue looks more healthy and pink like the other reviewers noted, and this is only after 3 uses! I can only imagine it will get better the more I use it.
