I'm 6'4'' 225lbs with a 48" chest, and I've been wearing it over a heavy sweatshirt and the bands are not being stretched out.. The manufacturer changed the light, so it does pivot now. There are distinct positions the light pivots into and will not move unless you change the position. The position I use is at about a 45 degree angle and the path is well lit with most of the illumination about 6-10 feet in front of me. The unit is lightweight, comfortable and you won't even realize you have it on. It came fully charged , and after 4 hours of use, 4 of the 5 battery strength bars are still lit. We'll have to see how the unit holds up over time, but as of now definitely worth the money. UPDATE-- The day after submitting this the unit went from 4 bars to 0 bars on a 1 hour run. The light went off and each time the on/off button was pushed the light would stay lit for about 10 seconds. It's probably wise to charge the unit after a couple hours of use at the most. Will purchase a new one because I like the product. Still wish they would make the straps reflective! Bought this in Oct 2018... has worked flawlessly ever since. I walk for 2 - 5 miles in the dark and have never run out of power. Very bright (2 solid light modes, 1 flashing mode) lights up my path and can be seen from a great distance.
