I've owned over a dozen brands, and there are always some hit and some miss; not with eneloop. This is my first experience with eneloop pro, and I'm impressed. Pros: -The kit is the way to start out with eneloop pro. It's very cost-effective, especially if you catch it on sale. -The higher-capacity and newer generation technology means more recharge cycles. Though I've not had problems before, this gives me peace of mind that I'll hang onto these for a while. -The charger is compact and would be great for travel. As a side note, it takes seven (7!) hours to charge AAs. -They are intended to work in lower temperatures. It is hot here at the moment, but I look forward to testing it out. Cons: -They didn't arrive fully charged. -The case has a flimsy plastic spacer and is otherwise just a chasm. I would love it if it had space for these and additional batteries, but it does not. Thankfully, the case is not my reason for buying them. I would prefer that they either fix it to be useful or omit it and reduce the price by however many cents it cost, though.
