Use one pole for both walking, training, and hiking. Fits: beginners and avid walkers. Weight loss, regular exercise, Nordic walking and hiking. You can choose between using the built-in resistance when walking with the poles and focus on strength and weight loss gains, or the locking mechanism to transform the poles into rigid/fixed hiking or trekking poles for when you want that instant support (stop). the locking mechanism allows the pole to quickly and easily go from "resistance mode" to "hiking mode" in just a few seconds. The locking of the pole can be adjusted by twisting the turning nut so that it is secured on the middle part of the pole. This will guarantee the pole from collapsing and stay in the fixed position. Poles come included with: 13.2 lbs upgrade kit, 2 rubber feet, and metal tips. ## Features - BungyPump Walkathlon has TWO functions in one, use the built-in resistance of 8.8 lbs. or with the help of the locking mechanism transform it into a fixed pole; Use one pole for both training and hiking - The built-in resistance gives the user effective yet gentle fitness and strength training, while the fixed option is perfect for hikes in mountains, rugged terrains or as support on slipper surfaces - Increases calorie consumption with up to 77%, compared to regular walking; Activates and strengthens about 90% of the body's muscles - Can easily and without any tools be upgraded to higher resistance levels; When travelling, they can easily and without the use of any tools be disassembled into 3 parts, becoming only 27 inches in length - Adjustable length 45-61 inches, moveable locking system to alter between springy and fixed pole, can be used by the whole family, cork handle with ergonomically designed wrist strap ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Color | Green | | Hand orientation | Pair | | Material type | Aluminium | | Maximum height recommendation | 61 Inches | | Number of items | 1 | | Number of pieces | 1 | | Included components | BungyPump walkathlon, product brochure | | Batteries included? | No | | Brand | BungyPump | | Manufacturer | Sports Progress International AB | | Item model number | 1242 | | Product Dimensions | 7.01 x 7.01 x 110.01 cm; 816.47 g | | ASIN | B00W4UX4D4 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** BungyPump - **Material:** Aluminium - **Colour:** Green - **Shaft material:** Aluminum - **Extended length:** 61 Inches ## Images ![BungyPump Walkathlon, 2-in-1 Fitness Walking Pole, 8.8 lbs & 13.2 lbs of Built-in Resistance/Fixed Pole for Hiking Trekking - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41lE7XaixwL.jpg) ![BungyPump Walkathlon, 2-in-1 Fitness Walking Pole, 8.8 lbs & 13.2 lbs of Built-in Resistance/Fixed Pole for Hiking Trekking - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41NaFPSzZSL.jpg) ![BungyPump Walkathlon, 2-in-1 Fitness Walking Pole, 8.8 lbs & 13.2 lbs of Built-in Resistance/Fixed Pole for Hiking Trekking - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51jQZqvXsdL.jpg) ![BungyPump Walkathlon, 2-in-1 Fitness Walking Pole, 8.8 lbs & 13.2 lbs of Built-in Resistance/Fixed Pole for Hiking Trekking - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51DehEVNuFL.jpg) ![BungyPump Walkathlon, 2-in-1 Fitness Walking Pole, 8.8 lbs & 13.2 lbs of Built-in Resistance/Fixed Pole for Hiking Trekking - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Ub36ielTL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So comfortable and you feel you’ve done a proper walk. *by L***X on 29 October 2020* Love the fact they help tone up arms whilst walking. Can use as normal poles or bouncy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says on the tin! *by J***N on 9 April 2017* Does what it says it does. I'd prefer the straps to be slightly more robust/fitting, and to also have the Nordic walking paws as well as the trekking paws, for the bottom of the poles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pole *by F***R on 6 March 2017* Love this pole. I love the fact it can easily be upgraded with no tools and that the upgrade kit came free. Great pole particularly if you are used to Nordic Walking poles. Quick delivery. Products arrived in great condition. Correspondence with seller has been excellent. Would buy again. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/75910128-bungypump-walkathlon-2-in-1-fitness-walking-pole-8-8](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/75910128-bungypump-walkathlon-2-in-1-fitness-walking-pole-8-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
