It injects FILLING into cupcakes and assuming the filling has some flavor, then I would say yes, it adds flavor. However, it's not like a meat injector which would inject a liquid. A cream filling would be the logical choice, but I'll bet Nutella or the new "jif whips" chocolate/peanut butter filling would be quite nice. It's simple to do, but the results are special.
