As such it's made of cheap plastic. But after comparing it with Accu Chek Active and Contour One Plus for about a week, I can say that ControlD Glucometer is quiet accurate. Its reading was always between the readings of Accu Chek Activ and Contour One Plus. The point of difference being 5-10 points, which I think is quiet acceptable. I have decided to use ControlD from now on. An added factor for this decision is the low cost of the Strips which is almost half of the other Glucometer strips.
