They show that water boils at about 202 degrees F in Denver, but ice water is right around 32F. While the combination cannot compete with the likes of Fluke meters, for a quick check on our outdoor gas grill, or indoor oven, this appears to be respectable and useful. This addition to the digital thermometer permits clipping to the interior of the oven or gas grill and provides a higher maximum temperature exposure. The other standard leads confirmed that the adjacent cabinets remained safely cool if the doors were kept open.
