The CamRanger greatly expands the bracketing ability that is built within the cameras.The CamRanger is a a stand-alone device that connects your Canon or Nikon DSLR to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch wirelessly via an ad hoc network. But this isn’t your ordinary remote shutter release. Yes, it does that, but you can adjust ISO, focus, white balance, see thumbnails of photos, can download photos into your iPad or even zoom in on a particular part of the photo. And it does much much more.

Hardware Details

* The CamRanger operates on a rechargable, replaceable battery (extra batteries available for purchase). Battery life varies upon usage but 5 to 6 hours is typical; however, in ideal scenarios over 11 hours can be achieved for intervalometer with no device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android, or Mac or Windows computer) connected.

* Charges with and can be powered by provided USB charging cable and US AC adapter.

* Wireless network enables connections up to 150 feet. (Slow connections have been maintained at 300 feet)

* Comes with protective case for storage and secure attachment.

* Includes Ethernet cable for firmware upgrades for future enhancements.

Includes a Free Ivation Mounting Kit that provides a secure way to mount the CamRanger on a DSLR in a convenient and secure manner while shooting.

- Automatically vary Shutter Speed, Aperture, or ISO for more powerful and flexible HDR
- Brackets are limited by your camera and lens, therefore you could bracket 57 shots from 1/8000 up to 30 second
- Set up HDR by specifying the highlights, shadows, or midpoints
- Combine HDR with time-lapse
- The images can then be post-processed with 3rd party software
