It is such good quality and appears to be waterproof. I’ve only just purchased it but the fit and quality of the fabric is great. It also has good fastenings to enable tightening for a snug fit. I would say that it is great value for money. Review: Will help with water conditioning and running costs - I bought this about a year ago. We have a hydropool tub so not a cheap buy. When it was empty (we winterised it as don't use it in the summer so didn't want to waste electricity) we realised water was getting through the cover every time it rained. It's not possible to know this when the tubs full. We had trouble balancing the water chemistry and I think the rain water wasn't helping. We bought this and after fitting noticed two things. Firstly the water chemistry became a lot easier to manage as rain water was kept out. Secondly there was a noticeable drop in our electric costs probably because of the additional insulation provided by the cover. It's paid for itself a couple of times over. We fitted it over our hot tub cover and it stays on all the time. When the tubs in use it folds back with the cover as it fits nicely under the top lifter. So overall an excellent product that really helped in our hot tub management and costs. Would thoroughly recommend. It does fade over time but I don't care about its appearance. My hotub is really well insulated but we had issues with the rain getting in the hotub through the cover this cover stops this which in turn saves money on running costs and water balance.
