A: It's a magnetic clasp.  You push down slightly on the ridge, and gently pull the two ends apart.

**Q: Is this product treated? Would it start to smell with sweat or use over time?**
A: Not sure what you mean by “treated”... I’ve had this cord for several months, wearing it frequently and there is no odor.

**Q: Will the clasp fit through my pendant hole? The pendant can take up to 3 mm.**
A: The Stainless steel clasp is about 5mm wide.
