They are 100% cotton so there is slight shrinkage; they are a fitted/slim cut to begin with. The front is a closed seam, these is no pocket. They do not have a elastic band like other brands, it is a cotton soft stretch band. Very comfortable, but if you need them to have a tighter elastic check out another brand. If you want some stretch or don't want to deal with them shrinking and being tighter, I would recommend moving up a size. Work perfect for lean, trim bodies. Review: Love them but sizing isn’t what I expected - I wear a large in almost all other pairs of underwear. These fit well fairly well but the waistband is a little bit looser than I would like so I think, for this brand, a medium would be better. It’s just the waistband that feels looser than I think it should be even after washing/drying. They do feel nice otherwise. The material feels quality.
