Tastes like the aftertaste of beer + good steak + loads of salt I'm glad I read a bunch of info about this from others before I just smeared a bunch on my toast and killed my palette forever. Here's how to taste it - Piping hot toast or parantha fresh from the tawa. I used dal and onion parantha, fyi. Generously apply butter, even on the crunchy edge bits. Finally, take a butter knife, a very small amount of vegemite on the tip and smear a thin layer - as thin as you can go. Take a bite, it's definitely an acquired taste. I also tried it on a cracker with some cheddar and apple. I think this'll be great with slow cooked stuff and stews, and would make an excellent marinade.

Just got my bottle and was so excited for this, tried it for the first time ever after hearing so much about it from my aussie friends. Taste subjective. I prefer Vitam-R ( German), but this one also good. Comes in glass bottle with sealed leak proof lid. Had a leaking marmite before. Little too expensive. Would buy again.
