## Description

Create your own DIY counting and sorting set with these charming wooden acorns and bowls. These are unfinished, solid wood acorns and bowls that are ready for you to paint, stain, or decorate. The acorns are 1-3/8" tall and 1" wide. The bowls are 1-1/8" tall and 2-1/2" wide. Kit includes enough acorns to put 3 in each of the 6 bowls, and still have 2 extra acorns in case some get lost over time. This is perfect for a DIY counting/sorting activity for children, and is great in schools, Montessori, and home schooling. They're also great for fall decor, party favors, or wedding favors. Comes in a zip-top plastic bag for each storage. Chica and Jo brand. Made in the USA.

Review: Great for crafting! - I got these for my two-year old nephew and painted them with non-toxic paint for a fun fall sorting game. Both the bowls and the acorns are good-quality and looked gorgeous with a little paint. My nephew is delighted with them, and it’s a fun, easy project for anyone with a toddler or preschooler :) I will say the bowls are a little smaller than I thought they’d be, but four acorns do fit (I just did three each in four colors so it would be more developmentally appropriate).

For a softer look I painted them with watered down non-toxic acrylic and sealed them with some beeswax mixture.

Beautiful quality, smooth as glass finish on the acorns. I did have to lightly sand the lips of the bowls, but they were also lovely. The perfect blanks for a sorting DIY. Would absolutely recommend and buy again.
