Compared to the regular Cat6 cables I used before, these Cat6a cables feel much more durable: noticeably thicker outer jacket, beefier RJ45 connectors, and seriously solid shielding. They do retain a little coil memory if bent tightly, but they still lay flatter and route far more easily than standard Cat6 – the Cat6a construction really helps there.
