The woven pattern in the material does not cause itching or become bothersome after wearing all day. Not for extreme cold. Wearing these outside for snow shoveling or other moderate work in temps around 20-30deg should be fine. Most people reviewing do not work outside all day or in extreme weather. They do not understand the demands of laboring outside and their simple reviews reflect this. After washing shirt has stretched a bit, I hope this does not become a problem. I did not think I wold like this brand of thermal wear but I am surprised in a good way.-After a season of use and several washings I am very happy with this thermal. I also wear the matching bottoms. Suggested sizes are correct for me. A bit of stretching has occured but not horrible.
