I am writing this review as a tribute to Louise and her phenomenal work. I have Louise' You Can Heal Your Life which is my all time favourite. But, "Heal Your Body" is Louise' first book based on her in depth qualitative research. She is modest enough to say that her conclusions are correct 95% of the times. But, by my personal and professional experience I can say that her conclusions have proved true 100 out of 100 times. I have purchased both You Can Heal Your Life and Heal Your Body. Heal Your Body is quite handy to carry and it also contains a detailed chart of effects of spinal misalignments. I use it every day. Some people may not agree with the thought that all illnesses/dis-eases, including accidents, are psychosomatic. But, I have contemplated on each of Louise' conclusions for hours and days and got great insights. You can find her wisdom in our idioms, proverbs, phrases and so on. Just to give an example: As per Louise' theory your hearing ability diminishes when you do not want to listen. There is a phrase in English "giving a deaf ear to someone". If we ponder on her philosophy, we find subtle evidences. My clients have blessed me time and again for just suggesting them this book. I gifted copies of this book to some physiotherapists. They are using it to suggest affirmations to their patients and have shared that those patients who practise specific affirmations recover faster than others. To sum up, I would say that although the title of the book is Heal Your Body, the guidance therein paves the path to healing our mind and emotions (thoughts, beliefs, perspectives and feelings) as well.
