A: First of all you don't need a 250 ohms for laptop, it will be used for a higher grade machine and work station. A radio station or highly professional music studio. 32 Ohms will also do the job for a laptop and yes you will need an amplifier or a usb DAC. For me, Fiio usb DAC worked gr8

Go for either 80-Ohms or 32-Ohms for better volume levels. The 250-Ohms option, of course, is a very good headphone, but, you will need a good headphone amp to drive it as the phone's output will not be enough to drive it to its full efficiency.

After using it for over 3 years..I have found this product is very comfortable to use for your mixing, Mastering. Sound quality is very good,wire length is very good because comes with a coiled cable and an adapter,For Indian economy the price is a bit high.but it a great choice for your studio.
