Yea!!! *by L***T on March 12, 2016* I love to cook, but had always been afraid of cast iron. I tried cast iron cookware before and it turned into a rapidly rusting mess. Then, I had the privilege of reviewing a book written about cast iron cookware. I learned how to properly treat it and now I don't have any problems anymore. It's a really simple thing to do...you just have to get over your fear of them. There are numerous youtube videos about how to season cast iron. Watch them before you take your soapy sponge to clean your skillet! Now that I know how to do it, not only don't I have rusty cookware, but also, I have a fry pan where nothing sticks. It also heats really evenly and maintains its heat so things cook unbelievably well.Recently, I got another cast iron frypan not made by this manufacturer. The difference in surface texture is dynamic. My second one is rough and because of it, it doesn't clean as easily. I would get another pan from Ecolution before ever getting another brand. Evolution's pan has a beautiful, smooth, easy to take care of surface.
