Genesis 950 can be used as a spot cleaner or in a carpet cleaner/steam cleaner. For basic stains, the recommended cleaning ratio is to mix 1 part Genesis 950 with 7 parts water. For tough stains, such as pet stains, marker stains and heavy traffic areas, Genesis 950 can be mixed with water at a 50/50 ratio. While other cleaners can be composed mostly of water, Genesis 950 is sold in concentrate form. Because of this, you are getting more for your money. I've found other, cheaper items to work just as good if not better. I've attempted multiple times to clean coffee and dog urine stains and I'm left disappointed each time.I read online that this product would attack black-light stains and fight the toughest stain (This was from a user and not the manufacturer.) So I was eager to purchase it and test it out. I mixed in per the instructions and attempted to clean a newer stain multiple times. Then I increased the mixture with water. That didn't work. Then I used it straight. That didn't work. I still have a yellow dog urine stain in my carpet.
