## Description

Rit DyeMore is a synthetic dye that will color 100% polyester, acrylic, acetate, nylon and polyester/cotton blends. The Stove Top method—dyeing the items in a pot on the stove—is recommended especially when dyeing polyester and acrylic, because a very high temperature is needed to dye these fabrics. Nylon tends to dye very quickly and much darker than the other fibers so the actual time needed in the dye bath is much less.

**Q: Can I use the dye on a hot cycle in my washing machine? I have 2 pairs of very long (floor length) curtains that I want to dye**
A: Unfortunately Rit Dyemore cannot be used in the washing machine as it just won't reach the temperatures needed to penetrate the fabric

**Q: What type of pot should I use? For the amount of water, a normal stock pan seems to small?**
A: a jampot is good

**Q: If you dye the clothing item in high heat, will it not shrink it ?**
A: This dye is for a manmade material which can withstand high heat - a natural material like wool would definitely shrink - hope this helps.

**Q: Does it work on polyester**
A: Yes perfectly

This dye doesnt work on 100% polyester, even though it promises to. Followed all instructions and there was no colour change. Waste of £10 ;(
