Cute patchwork skirt handmade in Nepal with 100% organic cotton and hand dyed using organic dyes, this skirt has an elastic waist so it is adjustable to most sizes. Has a drawstring with bells on it for size tightening if needed. Since this is handmade- each one is completely different in coloration of the patches. I cannot even begin to load up enough images to show the color combinations but each one is very beautiful. If you sew, or know someone who does, the thing to do is remove the waistband, cut the extra length off at the top, then sew the waistband back on. I would not consider this a job for a beginner. Simple but tedious, lot of pins. I'm not quite 5'3" and I cut off 3 inches, With 3 and a half inch heels, this gives me a skirt that looks like the picture. The short parts of the hem clear my toes, and the long parts trail somewhat. The flowers are right about hip bone level. As also noted, the waist is sized for small people. It fits me well, and I generally weigh between 106 and 115. Really like the skirt, but it was a bit of work. I expected this however, from reading the other reviews.
