This knife is very elegant and I was able to put a wicked edge on it. The knife did not come very sharp. I would classify this as more of a decorative knife as it is a little heavy to use as an every day carry knife. With that being said, I have used it for a bunch of different tasks around the house and it has held up fine. This will be something that my kids will receive some day when I am no longer here and I am sure it will still be just as amazing.The knife came very stiff and it took a few days of playing with the knife and constantly opening and closing it to get it broken in.
