These fit the bill nicely. I brailled a bunch of labels and cut them to the size I needed for each application. I typically got several labels out of each magnetic strip. Since Most of the labels I wanted to make would be two or less inches in width, I oriented the magnetic strips sideways to write on them.I advise using a slate and stylus to make the braille, not a braillewriter. Applying braille to these labels will require a rather firm press of the stylus when making the dots. If you do this, the braille will come out quite nicely with distinct, long-lasting dots and no cut edges where the material is warped to form the dots.I had been using labeling tape for braille labels, but I was tired of having to make new labels each time I used up a can and threw it away and needed a label for a new one. With these magnetic labels, I can just take the label off the old can and put it on the new one.I would like it if the magnet was a little stronger, but so far I haven't had any problems with accidentally knocking the labels off.
