I do not too much about the Korean Rice Cake. **Q: Where is this item manufactured?** A: Tiger Corporation's Head Office is located at 3-1 Hayamicho, Kadoma City, Osaka 571-8571, Japan.Wherever it's manufactured, it's still made by Japan. It's a great product, much easier than my parents old machine. **Q: Can you use flour sticky rice? or only whole rice? how do you make the mochi paste?** A: I use this machine to pound my sweet rice (cooked) to make a rice "pan cake". **Q: This machine is advertised to also make udon noodles and miso and a miso inpeller is included in the box, but I cannot find any recipes for either.** A: If you are talking about using this machine to make udon noodles and miso from scratch, I'm sorry I cannot help. Also, I have a different machine (similar) that I use just for cooking rice. I have never made the udon noodles or miso and find it just easier to buy the wide Japanese noodles as well as buying a small container of miso.
