I bought a 2-pack for one pair of shoes from this vendor via Amazon, product had such a strong odor, I had to placed them in garage for two days. Unsure if each packaging has different fragrances, the balls in the pack you ask about was not overpowering, but who knows what might have changed in 2-4 years. **Q: So, what is the scent?** A: It's kind of a fresh scent, similar to some linen scents. The scent isn't noticeable unless you're a foot or two from the ball, no pun intended. **Q: How do these work to eliminate the odor? there's nothing in the description on how they actually work.** A: There is an odor absorbing powder inside the balls. It smells like a light fabric softener. You can see it in the band around the ball. They work awesome! I would have a pair for every pair of shoes if I could! **Q: Are these recyclable?** A: Not in my area ## Frequently Bought Together - Sneaker Balls Odor-Fighting Shoe Fresheners, Eliminates Unpleasant Smells, Perfect For Sneakers, Gym Bags, Gear Bags, Drawers, Lockers, And More!, Matrix, 2 Pack - Dr. Scholl's ODOR-X ULTRA ODOR-FIGHTING POWDER SPRAY, 4.7 oz // Destroys Odors Instantly - All-Day Odor Protection - Freshens Feet & Shoes - FOOT SENSE All Natural Smelly Foot & Shoe Powder - Foot Odor Eliminator lasts up to 6 months.
