The quality is definitely above average. It is not glossy or writable on, but does have a grid with difficult terrain markings as shown. The only thing that could've been improved is a clearer discerning on how high the boulders and cliffs are.It accurately depicts marshy fields that give just the right amount of terrain features to make any encounter more three-dimensional. It gives plenty of options for tactical decisions in getting across and outmaneuvering your enemy, without becoming bogged down with too many obstacles. Even so, adds a lot of versatility, allows for more complex water features, and has a few set pieces.Blends well with others in the 'set' -  Sinister Woods - Dungeon Tiles: Dungeon Tile Set DU5 (4th Edition D&D)  and  Dungeon Tiles Master Set - The Wilderness: An Essential Dungeons & Dragons Accessory (4th Edition D&D) .Check the Customer Photos for 3 sample configurations using only this set. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Witchlight Fens DT Set Review *by A***G on Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2011* I think this is the first tile set I purchased where the sample dungeon didn't require two sets.I'd say roughly 50% of the tiles are land, while the other 50 is water or marshy areas. When I initially looked at the tiles, I was slightly disappointed because I was hoping the tiles would be darker in color and more muddy looking in appearance. However, I quickly got over that when I realized with the current color scheme, it is easy to piece together this set with previous releases of outdoor sets such as  The Wilderness .Here's a rough idea of what tiles are included:8x8 A dock1x2 boat2x raft4x4, 4x8 bridge connecting two small pieces of land (easy to connect with larger bodies)4x4, 2x4, 2x2 pond2x8 (2) river8x8 bridge connecting two pieces of land8x8 small building on an patch of land with docks on two sidesAlso included a few tree tiles, fallen logs, statues, large rocks and many pieces to create a small swampy island.Overall, I'd say this is a really useful set.
