Of course when we placed the hangers there was one that was out of position and had to be moved, and when I removed it I was pleasantly surprised to see that there really was only a small pinhole in the drywall.The difference in the OOK hangers is that the "nail" that fastens the hanger into the wall is tapered to a slim, sharp point at the end so there is simply less damage done when the nail is hammered into place. The end of the "nail" that is left exposed has grooves cut into it and the head is bigger than a typical nail, both of which make it easier to grab and and remove them from the wall than the nails supplied with "regular" picture hangers.The result is a small clean hole in the wall, which requires just a small dab of spackling, and I won't need any touch-up paint.While I was sceptical of their claims, I am a believer in the OOK hangers and will be using them from now on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Say goodbye to plastic mollys - and you can even take them with you when you move! *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on February 22, 2018* My favorite picture hangers hands down. I once lived in 4 houses in 3 years - these professional hooks are amazing because you can take them back out of the wall with only a tiny hole, and reuse them over and over. Always buy these and not the cheaper everyday OOK hooks - they have a fatter nail, and the nailhead is harder to remove from the wall if you ever want to move... Note these are best for pictures that have a picture wire on the back - they typically don't work for the little sawtooth hangers as the hook has an angle to it. The nail is sharp and goes in easily (I have not used on a stud). Hanging pictures can be a chore especially if creating a gallery that has symmetry. These hooks make the chore go easier. A note of caution. Because these are hooks, it is more difficult to use this product with pictures that have sawtooth hardware.
