A: My roller door remote broke and I had rocker switches fitted the rocker switch you show is configured to do the up, down function you require

A: No. I would not regard it as suitable for outdoor use in itself.

A: Yes the switch is centre off and it does have to be held in the up or down position, it does not lock.

**Q: Are there any simple fitting instructions please?**
A: yes, but it mainly depends on the configuration of your receiver box or motor,
The easy way to do it is 
1) up wire from your door/receiver box to the top hole of the unit (number 4)
2) down wire from your door/receiver box to the bottom hole of the unit (number 3)
3) common wire from your door/receiver box to the middle hole of the unit (number 5)
4) fit a link wire from 5 to 2
