Even though I haven't added anything new to my beauty routine in over a year and wear minimal to no makeup, Proactiv recently just stopped working for me. I've read numerous stories of this happening but I was hoping after using Proactiv for over 5 years I would be safe. Unfortunately, with Proactiv breakouts started happening again and my pores started to get very clogged. I was dealing with a lot of sebaceous filaments on my entire face, severe clogged pores/acne on my chin and upper cheeks. I started using this, except for the moisturizer, and after 2 weeks, my skin is clear again. I am also very pleased because my sebaceous filament issue has been reduced to about 75% less. Proactiv was never able to reduce my seb. filament by this much so I am thrilled with Solvere. The toner pads in this kit are thin but, on a positive note, they are soaking wet with the solution and they work well so I can live with a thinner pad. I think the 3rd step in this system, the acne gel, is great! It's comparable to Proactiv's repairing lotion in the sense that both products have 2.5% benzoyl peroxide but the Solvere gel goes on smooth and leaves my face less greasy than Proactiv. I hope this doesn't start to loss its effectiveness but only time will tell. Eventually, I will try the moisturizer but I wanted to make sure my skin tolerated the other steps in this system. Even without using a moisturizer, I am not flaky at all so I haven't felt too rushed to use the moisturizer (except for my eye cream). This is surprising because I've had eczema all my life and I've always been flaky. I am using this kit 2x/day, morning and night. I find that I have to reorder about every 4 weeks which is ok since I've seen such a significant improvement to my skin. ### ⭐ Okay guys so I'm leaving this review to warn each ... *by D***O on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2015* Okay guys so I'm leaving this review to warn each and every one of you! I had a derm who would sell my this product for $85. It made miracles on my face. It got expensive and saw this for $50 so I said why not. It's a freaking fake it would oversee my face and it's made me break out. I had the box for the original and this box and the the box my derm would sell me had different ingredients. Guys you get what you pay for! Go to a derm and ask for Solvere. But not from this trash 3rd party tht sells a replica. Don't be fooled guys. Just give it a few days to a week to let it kick in as it needs to bring the bacteria lodged deep in the skin up. It also helps with cystic acne although medication also needs to be used.
