Laser sight is touchy and not easy to adjust, but I don’t really use it anyway. Arrived with no manual (no prob for any reasonably mechanical person).Soft start motor is great, bag catches all any could expect (saws are messy), smooth cuts with my diablo blades, zero-clearance sliding mechanism works fantastic! I got a refurb unit. I’m 100% certain this is the best saw I could have gotten for the money spent, or even for a hundred bucks more. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not The Saw Hitachi Use To Make *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2020* I purchased my first Hitachi C10FS 20 years ago. It finally stopped working. Instead of having it rebuilt for $250 I opted to purchase this new refurbished version. I was hoping it would be better than the one I had for 20 years. How ever I was not impressed. The new lazer guide, all the stop points are all annoying features. Especially when cutting crown molding. When cutting a professional needs to be able to fine tune the angles on most jobs. All the new design features and the shotty locking mechanisms are junk compared to the C10FS from yesteryear. Hitachi use to make the BEST compound sliding miter saw on the market professional finish carpenters.
