It works opposite from a regular thermostat, so make sure your application is correct. This is not for a furnace or air conditioner. The one I recieved is a much more modern looking switch. It works exactly as described and the install was as easy as disconnecting the old switch (turning off the power at the fuse panel of course) and wirng in the new one.
