I hoped that it would just get me by, and it definitely did more. I loved it. I had a black iPhone 5S and this light colored case made it look more feminine, and the colors reminded me of neapolitan ice cream! It was way more protective than i was expecting, and my phone never got a scratch/crack even after i dropped it many times. Also, it arrived pretty fast! I now have a iPhone 6s and I wish they made this case for my new phone. I had a Kate Spade case that had a similar construction but this is actually far better than that $40 case. It fits snugly and securely on my iPhone 5s and has survived a few falls now without any damage to the phone or case. Also, the styles are very nice.
