A: It is not leather. I actually am not sure but it is a synthetic material. It does smudge from the oils/lotions on my fingers -- not a lot, but some.

**Q: What is the measurement for a medium case**
A: the Beige Case you in the image is Small size not Medium , the small size measure: Inside Inch: 1 5/8" W x 5 1/2" L   and the medium Size is: Inside Inch: 2" W x 6 1/4" L x 1" H
