As most mid-grade pedals go, the threading on these leave more to be desired and can easily be cross threaded upon installation. Make sure that you thread TOWARDS THE FRONT TIRE on BOTH pedals upon installation. If you feel any resistance upon installation, please check your threads to ensure you are not cross threading.I made this same mistake but installed them backwards on the crank-arms to rethread my arms, and was able to install with ease the correct way.I have a red and black Giant Revel 2 and the white pedals are a great standout addition to the bike.These pedals have some grip to them and even with slide on sandals, I can confidently stand on my pedals without the fear of slipping. ### ⭐ nice but failed way too early *by K***. on November 13, 2017* really nice pedals; apparently well designed, inexpensive, light, no slip. However installed on June 1, and now it's Nov 13, 1700 miles later, and the bearings are gone.
