Review: perfect kitchen tool - I use this scraper for when I chop up vegetables. I have been looking at one of these products for a long time. What I like about this product and what is different than the others I have researched is that it has a ribbed handle so it's easier to hold/grip. It has a large and durable surface and also has a scoop feature so that you can easily pick up your vegetables and transfer to pot/pan. It does not fall off the sides. This scraper is used every day in my household. I am glad I finally bit the bullet and bought this product. I love the different color options that are available. I will be trying other Rachel Ray products in the future.
Review: Ruggedly made, very useful kitchen gadget - This is exactly the quality that I thought it would be (based on the photo and the other reviews) and for under $8 I think it's a very good buy. I am constantly chopping onions, mushrooms, garlic and before I bought this I did the little dance--trying to push the stuff into the palm of my hand to transfer it to the pan, dropping half of it on the floor (unfortunately onions and mushrooms don't interest the cats), etc. I used to work in a bakery long ago and should have thought of owning this neat little device sooner. It works great and the blue handle is very cheerful (just in case you need cheerful kitchen toys). My only suggestion is that they make the leading edge sharper and thinner--it's a tiny bit on the thick side and so still takes some work to push small pieces up onto the blade. A sharper blade would also let you chop a bit, too. But those are minor issues. Nicely made, very affordable--a great gift for a kitchen pal because it is extremely useful and it will last forever. I'd bet willing to be someone who does a lot of crafts work or has a wood shop would invent good uses for this, too. By the way, I don't have a clue who Rachel Ray is :)

I use this scraper for when I chop up vegetables. I have been looking at one of these products for a long time. What I like about this product and what is different than the others I have researched is that it has a ribbed handle so it's easier to hold/grip. It has a large and durable surface and also has a scoop feature so that you can easily pick up your vegetables and transfer to pot/pan. It does not fall off the sides. This scraper is used every day in my household. I am glad I finally bit the bullet and bought this product. I love the different color options that are available. I will be trying other Rachel Ray products in the future.
