I followed the instructions, used three thin coats of color plus base coat and top coat, nd dried each coat under the UV light for 90 seconds. I've had it on for a full week and have no signs of chipping or peeling. The kit came with a large assortment of colors. I ended up giving away the colors that I know I'll never use. The bottles are black plastic, so I can't tell how much is left after I did my nails, but I'm guessing there is at least enough left for 2 more applications.
