Review: Works great for me, but maybe not for you - I live in a high rise condo with a balcony. The pigeons have mostly left me alone, but this spring they started to use my balcony as their personal bathroom. My entire balcony was covered in droppings, and after my second weekend scrubbing/bleaching it all away, I finally had enough. I tried a couple of other non-invasive deterrents first. I tried an owl statue first; pigeons weren't fooled. I also tried shiny strips/reflectors, but they did very little because my balcony is in shade 90% of the time. This product was my third option. I applied it to the railing and the edge of my balcony where the pigeons like to perch. My balcony is about 20 feet wide. The whole process took 30 minutes with a chalk gun, and probably used up 1.5 tubes. It worked flawlessly. I haven't had a pigeon since applying this product. And I know it works because there are spots with a couple of feathers stuck on the glue. So a pigeon must have landed, got upset, and left in a hurry. It's cheap, silent, and durable. It's already gone through a couple of rainstorms without washing away, and I believe it when they say it'll last for 6 months. I'm extremely happy with the results, but there are a couple of problems/potential issues that I've noticed: 1. My balcony is small. Application was easy. If you had to apply this to a large balcony or patio, it could be aggravating, especially if you have back or wrist issues. 2. I don't go out on my balcony much. I don't mind having glue on certain areas. If you, your family, or your pet goes out on your balcony a lot, then this glue can be an issue. 3. The glue gets nasty after a while. It attracts all kinds of dust and pollen, not to mention little flies and insects. Again, I don't mind, but for anyone who cares about the aesthetics of their balcony, this is not going to be the product for you. I'm still extremely happy with this product. But I can easily see how some people would absolutely hate it.

This product is brilliant as we have had lots of trouble with Pidgeon's on our roof nesting under the solar panel's. I contacted lots of companies regarding getting rid of them to no avail. Some wanted between £400 - £1600 to remove them and prevent them returning. We were sick of the constant scratching and cowing they were making. AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! So when I see this product with the acclaimed right up recommendations I decided to purchase some. I was not disappointed it does exactly what it says it stops the pigeons landing on the roof as the gel being permanently soft it sticks to their feet, so that when they take flight the gel then sticks to their body giving them what is only to be described as applying DEEP HEAT On. IT WORKS THERE IS NO MORE SCRATCHING, NESTING, PLUS NO MORE DEFFICATION TO CLEAR UP. HHOOORRRAAAYYYY!!!!!!! So providing you can get up to apply the gel to the area where you do not want the birds to be, all you then need to do it apply the gel with a mastic gun after pulling the very top of the tube off, cutting the end of the tube and using a long implement to pierce the sealed end in the tube. I would recommend this product should you need to as we did to remove them from our house these pests.
