This version has an outstanding quality build and peforms well. Sizing fits overhead compartments with ease - an important factor with the density of travelers on each aircraft. There is not a tremendous amount of room, but I am guilty of overpacking. I use as my backup in case the main bag doesn't make it. That has happened to me more often than I would like. The bag handles well and the casing material is superior.
