And they are well made that they can be reused over and over again (just as long as you remember to grab them at the end of the meal). Certain types of chopsticks seem to fit in them better, but I find that if you snap them into the openings, they will all work just fine. It does not really teach the proper technique to hold chopsticks, but it makes them easy enough for a toddler to use. He asks for them every time we go to a restaurant and there are chopsticks at the place setting. I totally recommend this item!
