I didn’t find them good for cutting through thick branches the blade would break. **Q: Any good for plastic tile trim?** A: I used the cutters to cut a wooden blind down to size so I’m sure it will cut plastic. I have since used for thick hedge branches you just have to change the blades as they do go blunt after a while. I cut the whole blind down using the same blade. Hope this helps **Q: Can I cut hard plastic edge fencing (I've got sleeper posts in the way)?** A: If it's plastic only ( without any steel wire ) it will certainly cut it. It will require access to both sides of the plastic of course. **Q: Can you use this to cut wooden blind slats** A: If the slats fit in the jaws then I can’t see why they wouldn’t.
