The bars are made out of metal. Although the outside housing is plastic, the inside is metal as well. Seems sturdy. Was able to install it within 45 minutes and that’s including with some mishaps I installing the wrong washer on the wrong bolt during assembly. The eight washers with ridges on them should go onto the bolt that attaches it to the vehicle. The smooth washers need to go on the bolts that attach the bars to the attachments. Otherwise installation was seamless and needed less than four or five steps. The vehicle looks nice. Next step is a basket and something to carry luggage on the outside during trips. Happy with the purchase since it’s way cheaper than OEM Toyota Review: Easy installation - Installation was easy and look great. Very durable. High quality material and fits comfortably perfectly. ## Features - 2025 RAV4 Upgraded Crossbars ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DSL24CNC | | Brand | Autekcomma | | Brand Name | Autekcomma | | Colour | Black | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Toyota Rav4 2019-2025 LE/LE Hybrid/XLE/XLE Premium/XLE Hybrid /Limited/Limited Hybird/XSE Hybrid .
