**Q: Will this dongle work with the easy plus compact inverter charger?**
A: Yes.  I’ve been using one with my Easy Compact 1600 for early 2years without any problems.  The only minor thing is it acts as a temperature gauge for the batteries.  I found in my set up I had to mount it away from the batteries to get a good Bluetooth signal.  The batteries are in the engine bay.  So the temperature Reading isn’t spot on.   Not a major problem

Once your Multiplus/inverter is setup its pretty autonomous. However there is no way to see any data or controls unless you either have a Cerbo GX or colour control device. This unit at a fraction of the cost allows your inverter to show up in the Victron Connect app to see status, power and change settings as required. also allows you to switch on, off or mode change from your phone. It’s not always necessary depending on your needs but a nice to have.
